(SEDGEFIELD) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STOPPING, PARKING PLACES & DISABLED PARKING) ORDER 2011 (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2017
The Council on 21/09/17 made an Order under Sections 1, 2 & 4 and Pt. IV of Sch. 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, ("the Act") the effect of which comes into operation on 02/10/17 and extends the existing No Waiting At Any Time on Salters Lane Industrial Estate Road from the existing restriction (entrance into Sainsburys) in a southerly direction for the full length on the east side and to the junction of UPS Depot on the west side. Full details are contained in the Order, a copy of which may be inspected at Sedgefield Library and County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours & via the Council website. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by "the Act", as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement ofthat Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from 29/09/17, apply to make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
(FOOTPATH NO. 6 (REAR OF MEDICAL CENTRE), SEDGEFIELD) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2017
The Council proposes in not less than 7 days from the date ofthis notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) ofthe Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all pedestrian traffic a 20m length of Footpath No.6 that extends eastwards fromits junctionwith Footpath No.7 east ofthe Medical Centre/Homebryth House, Sedgefield by reason of building extension works to be undertaken. The maximum duration of the temporary closure under the Order is 6 months andis requiredfrom16/10/17forthedurationoftheworks anticipated to be 6 months. However, on rare occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Alternative route: via a temporary footpath provided immediately north of the closed section of path. Dated: 29 September 2017
