LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (SLADE LANE AND SABDEN ROAD, PADIHAM, BURNLEY BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice. 1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over the following lengths of highway in the Borough of Burnley. i. Slade Lane from its junction with A60688 Barrowford Road to its junction with Higham Road. ii. Sabden Road from its junction with Higham Road to its boundary with Ribble Valley on Sabden Road. 2. The prohibition will be operative daily from 0600 hours to 1700 on Friday 9th June 2017 until Sunday 9th July 2017 or until completion of the works within this period. 3. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:- Sabden Road – Whins Lane – Trap Lane – School Lane – A671 Whalley Road – A6068 Barrowford Road The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow surface dressing works to be carried out.
