PUBLIC PATH ORDERS DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 66) CREATION ORDER 2017
The above named Order, made under section 26 of the Highways Act 1980, was confirmed on the 26th April 2017 without modification. The effect is to create the public footpath to the east of Moorfields Estate, Darlington described in Part 1 of the Schedule below and as shown on the Order Map. Limitations are described in Part 2. Please see below for details as to how to view the Order; the date it comes into effect and how to make application to the High Court if aggrieved by it.
PART 1 - FOOTPATH TO BE CREATED
Starting at E, NZ 31175 13480 on Richmond Way and going east, through a kissing gate, for approximately 20 metres to F, NZ 31199 13481 and then north and east via existing footpaths in the nature reserve and through a kissing gate to G, NZ 31307 13515 atSalters Lane, Bridleway 37 Darlington. Width - 2 metres
A kissing gate at west end at Richmond Way (NZ 31175 13480) and a kissing gate near the east end approaching the junction with Public Bridleway 37 Darlington (NZ 31297 13523) atSalters Lane. Both gates are Centrewire mobilitykissing gates tostandard BS5709.2006 and are on land owned byDarlington Borough Council, whowill be responsible for maintenance.
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 40) EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER 2017
The above named Order, made under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, was confirmed on the 26th April 2017 without modification. The effect is to extinguish the public footpath to the east of Moorfields Estate, Darlington described in theSchedulebelowand as shown on theOrderMap.

Both ofthe abovementioned Orderscomeinto effecton the 10th May2017. Copies ofthe Orders and theOrderMaps have been placed and maybeseen freeofcharge atDarlington Borough Council, 17Allington Way, Darlington DL1 4QB from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the Order and Map may be bought there at the price of 50p. If a person aggrieved by either Order desires to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that the requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of that order, he or she may apply totheHigh Courtforanyofthe purposes within sixweeksfromthedate ofthis Notice.
