NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (WHASHTON ROAD, RICHMOND) ORDER 2017
NOTICE is hereby given that North Yorkshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 40 miles per hour on any length of road specified in the table below.

From a point 15 metres north west of its junction with the centre line of Cutpurse Lane, north westwards to a point 50 metres north west of its junction with the centre line of the vehicular access to the car park at the racecourse.
A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton and at Richmond Library during normal office hours from 10th February 2017 to 2nd March 2017 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices.
If you wish to object to the proposed Order, you should send the grounds for your objection, in writing addressed to "Area 1 Highways, Richmond Office, Gatherley Road Industrial Estate, Brompton on Swale, North Yorkshire, DL10 7JQ" or by e-mail to Area1.Richmond® northyorks.gov.uk or via the website link above by 2nd March 2017.
