(VARIOUS STREETS, GARDEN FARM ESTATE, CHESTER-LE-STREET) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2017
The Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2,4 & 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to introduce a 20mph speed limit restriction on (a) the entire lengths of the following roads, including all side streets and back lanes,: Bassenthwaite Ave, Buttermere Cl, Caragh Rd, Carrowmore Rd, Chiltern Ave, Coniston Cl, Cotswold Ave, Cumbrian Ave, Dunmoor Ct, Dunvegan Ave, Gibbs Ct, Grampian Ave, Hambledon Ave, Hawes Ave, Lomond Pl, Loweswater Ave, Lowther Ave, Malvern Ave, Moorfoot Ave, Pennine Ave, Pentland Ct, Quantock Ave, Reay Ct, Sheelin Ave, Southdowns, The Elms, Thirlmere Ave and Winderemere Ave and (b) Cleveland Ave from 15m south of its junction with the C91 Waldridge Rd southerly for 188m, Esthwaite Ave from 9m south of its junction with the Unc Grasmere Rd southerly for its entire length. Rydal Rd from 13m south of its westerly junction with Unc Grasmere Rd in a southerly then easterly then northerly then westerly direction to a point 6m east of its junction with Unc. Grasmere Rd, Sidlaw Ave from 7m south of its junction with the C91 Waldridge Rd southerly for its entire length, Ullswater Rd from 15m south of its westerly junction with Unc Grasmere Rd in a southerly then easterly then northerly direction to a point 15m south of its easterly junction with Unc Grasmere Rd and Un-named Road linking Sidlaw Ave to Mendip Ave from a point 3m west of its junction with the Unc Mendip Ave westerly for its entire length. A copy of the draft Order and supporting documents may be inspected at Chester le Street Library and at County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours and via the council website. HIGH PITTINGTON) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2016
The Council on 12/01/17 made an Order under Sections 81, 82, 83 & 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, ("RTRA"), the effect of which comes into operation on 20/02/17 and will introduce a 20mph speed limit restriction on the Unclassified Priors Grange, High Pittington, from a point 5 mts north west of its junction with the Unclassified 20.16 Hallgarth Lane, generally in a north westerly direction for its entire length. Full details are contained in the sealed Order which may be inspected at Belmont library and County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours and via the council website.
(STANLEY, EAST STANLEY, SHIELD ROW & TANFIELD LEA) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING/UNLOADING) ORDER 2010 (AMENDMENT No. 1) ORDER 2016
The Council on 12/01/17 made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32 & 35 & Pt IV of Sch. 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("RTRA"), as amended, the effect of which become operational on 23/01/17 and removes a length of No Waiting At Any Time restriction on A6076 Station Road from a point slightly south ofproperty No. 61 to a point adjacentNo. 65.
(STANLEY, EAST STANLEY, SHIELD ROW & TANFIELD LEA) (PARKING & WAITING RESTRICTIONS) (CONSOLIDATION NO. 1) ORDER 2017
The Council on 12/1/17 made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 & 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended ("RTRA") the effects of which become operational on 24/1/17 and which consolidates without any change to the substantive provisions of the following Orders (a) The County Council of Durham (Stanley, East Stanley, Shield Row & Tanfield Lea) (Parking & Waiting Restrictions) Consolidation No. 1 Order 2015 and (b) The County Council ofDurham (Stanley, East Stanley, Shield Row & Tanfield Lea) (Prohibition and Restriction ofWaiting and Prohibition ofLoading/Unloading) Order 2010 (Amendment No 1) Order 2016.
Full details are contained in the above 2 sealed Orders which may be inspected at County Hall, Durham Mon-Fri 9am to 4pm; via the council website and at Stanley Library during normal opening hours.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the above 3 Orders or ofany provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the "RTRA" or that any requirement ofthatAct or ofany regulation made under it has not been complied with may within 6 weeks from the date ofthis notice, apply to make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
