(AMENDMENT NO. 9) ORDER 2017
Notice is hereby given that Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2,4 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of the Traffic Management Act 2004. The effect of the Order, which comes into operation on the 23rd January 2017, is to amend the Darlington Borough Council (Moving Traffic) Consolidation Order 2012 in the following way:-
1. the roads listed in the Schedule will cease to be designated as derestricted
2. East Street will cease to be designated one way traffic
3. the section of Greystones Drive to the east of Yew Lodge and Greystones from its southern junction with Carmel Road North northwards to its northern junction with Carmel Road North will be designated one way traffic
Copies of the Order and Notice may be examined free of charge during the hours of 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday inclusive at the Town Hall, Feethams, Darlington DL1 5QT. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or anyprovision ofiton the grounds thatitis notwithin the power of the relevant section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or of any requirementofthatActor anyenactmentmade under ithas notbeen complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks from the date ofthis notice applytothe High Courtfor this purpose.
