(LANCHESTER AND LANGLEY PARK) (PROHIBITION & RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING) ORDER 2010 (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2016
The Council on 01/12/16 made the following Order under Sections 1, 2,4, 32 & 35 & Pt IV of Sch 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, (the "Act"), the effects of which come into operation on 12/12/16 and introduces in Lanchester: (1) No Waiting At Any Time on: (i) Front St. across the accesses to Woodham Ct and Stone Beck; (ii) north side of Front St (access road) from No 37 to No 27; (iii) across the dropped kerbed access to War Memorial; (2) Parking Mon-Sat 9am-5pm 3 hours no return within 3 hours on the north side of Front Street outside of No.'s 3-11 and 17-19; and (3) Disabled badge holders only parking bay Mon-Sat 9am-5pm outside of No. 1 Front St. A copy of the Order may be inspected at Lanchester library & at County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours and via the Council's website. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from 08/12/16 apply to make an application for that purpose to the High Court.

The Council intend to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32 & 35 and Pt. IV of Sch. 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, ("the Act"), the effect of which is to remove a length of No Waiting At Any Time restriction on A6076 Station Road from a point slightly south of property No. 61 to a point adjacent No. 65. All other restrictions in this locality will remain unaffected. A copy ofthe draft Order& supporting documents may be viewed at County Hall, DurhamMon-Fri 9am-4pm, via the Council website and at Stanley Library during normal opening hours.
