THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF DURHAM
(FOOTPATHS AT RIDDELL COURT, MOORFOOT AVENUE, CHESTER-LE-STREET) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2014
On 17/11/16 the County Council of Durham confirmed the above Order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the un-numbered footpath which runs south west to north east of Riddell Court, Moorfoot Ave., Chester-le-Street for some 29.5m, onto a line running from the existing south west point proceeding easterly then northerly to rejoin the existing footpath at its north west point where it merges with the un-numbered footpath adjacent to the East Coast mainline; as shown on the Order Map. A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at County Hall, Durham; via the Council website and at Chester-le-Street Library during normal opening hours. Copies of the Order & map may be bought there at the price of £1.15. The Order came into force on 11/11/16 but if any person aggrieved by the Order desire to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it are not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, they may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the Act.

BRANDON & BROWNEY) (PARKING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS) (CONSOLIDATION NO. 1) ORDER 2015 (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2016
On 17/11/16 the Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32 & 35 & Part IV of Sch. 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), as amended and Pt. 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, the effects of which extends the existing No Waiting/ No Loading At Any Time restriction on the west side of Sawmills Lane: (a) from its current end point opposite No. 4 north westerly for approx. 15mts to a point where it meets the access into the Garage; and (b) from its current end point adj. to No. 22 north westerly for approx. 70mts to the junction with Lowland Rd. The order will become operational on 28/11/16. Full details are contained in the sealed Order, which may be inspected at Brandon Library & County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours and via the Council website. Any person wishing to question the validity of theOrderorofanyprovisioncontainedinitonthegroundsthat it is not within the powers conferred by "the Act", as amended, oronthegroundsthatanyrequirement ofthatAct orofany regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from 24/11/16, apply to make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
