DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL - VARIATION OF CHARGES - OFF STREET PARKING PLACES
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 35C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Darlington Borough Council is varying the charges for off street parking places as set out in the Darlington Borough Council (Off Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2012 as amended.
1. The current charges for Monday-Saturday are shown in Schedule One; the new charges, which will come into effect from and including 1 April 2016, are shown in Schedule Two. Charges for Sunday parking will remain at £1 per day.
Schedule One - Current Charges
Car Park

Archer Street
50p per hour or part thereof;£4 daily ticket;£16 weekly ticket
Chesnut Street (non HGV)
50p per hour or part thereof; £2 daily ticket; £8 weekly ticket
East Street
50p per hour or part thereof;£2 daily ticket
Garden Street

Schedule Two - New Charges

2. With effect from 1 April 2016 the entitlement for any person paying for a period equal to or in excess of two hours in one payment to leave the vehicle in the parking places listed in Schedule Three for a period one hour in excess of that covered by the payment is removed.

Abbotts Yard, Archer Street, Commercial Street (East and West), East Street, Feethams, Garden Street, Hird Street, Kendrew Street (East and West), St Hildas, Winston Street (North and South)
3. The charge made to exit Feethams car park when the entry ticket has been lost is amended from £10 to £10 per day or part thereof.
