NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF PREMISES
Durham County Council being the authority for the purposes of The Marriages and Civil Partnerships (Approved Premises) Regulations 2005, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an application has been made by:
1) Ms Anne Robson, Bishop Auckland Register Office, 35 Cockton Hill Road Bishop Auckland, DL14 6HS proprietor of premises situated at and known as Cockton House, 35 Cockton Hill Road, Bishop Auckland, DL14 6HS
2) Mr Julian Hunt, c/o Shotton Hall, Old Shotton, Peterlee, SR8 2PH proprietor of premises situated at and known as Shotton Hall, Old Shotton, Peterlee, SR8 2PH
3) Mrs Shona Harper-Wilkes, Lartington Hall, Lartington, Barnard Castle, DL12 9BW proprietor of premises situated at and known as Lartington Hall, Lartington, Barnard Castle, DL12 9BW
4) Mrs Susan Moiser, C/O South Causey Inn, Beamish Burn Road, Stanley, DH9 0LS proprietor of premises situated at and known as South Causey Inn, Beamish Burn Road, Stanley,
for approval of those premises for the solemnization of marriages in pursuance of Section 26(1)(bb) of the Marriage Act 1949 as amended (same sex couples) Act 2013, and civil partnership registration in pursuance of Section 6(3A)(a) and Section 6A (3c) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004.
The applications, together with a plan of the premises which accompanied it, may be inspected at Annand House, John Street North, Meadowfield, Durham during opening hours.
Any person may give notice in writing of an objection to the grant of approval of such application, with reasons for the objection, within 21 days from the date of publication of the newspaper in which this notice appears.
