THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (NON-DEFINITIVE FOOTPATH AT THE METROLINK CAR PARK (PARK & RIDE) STANLEY ROAD, WHITEFD3LD) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any members of the public from proceeding along:-

Non-definitive footpath on land at the Metrolink Station car park (park & ride) Stanley Road, Whitefield
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate car park extension works.
The alternative route will be via Park Seventeen, Moss Lane and Bury New Road
and vice-versa.
The Order comes into operation on 23/08/21 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 18 weeks.

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (GARDNER ROAD/GREENGATE LANE/CLIFTON ROAD, PRESTWICH (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2021 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough has made the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows:-Gardner Rd, Prestwich - South side from the westerly kerbline of Greengate Ln for a distance of 12m in a westerly direction and north side from the westerly kerbline of Clifton Rd for a distance of 1 lm in a westerly direction.

Greengate Ln, Prestwich - Westerly side from the southerly kerbline of Gardner Rd for a distance of 15m in a southerly direction
Clifton Rd, Prestwich - westerly side from the northerly kerbline of Gardner Rd for a distance of 8m in a north westerly direction
A copy of the Order (including the exemptions contained in it) which comes into operation on 20/08/21 and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury BL9 0EJ. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks of 20/08/21 apply to the High Court for that purpose. The alternative route will be via York St, Hardys Gate Bridge, Dinners Ln, part of footpath 104BUR, Whitefield Rd, Keswick Dr, Kendal Dr & Bury Rd & vice versa The proposed Order will come into operation on 26/08/21 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately 6 months.
