Notice is hereby given that the County Council of Durham has made the County Council of Durham (Agnes Street Stanley) Compulsory Purchase Order 2021 under section 226(l)(a) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. It is about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for confirmation, and if confirmed, the order will authorise the County Council of Durham to purchase compulsorily the land described below for the purpose of development, re-development or improvement of that land by the erection of three retail units. A copy of the order and of the accompanying map may be seen at all reasonable hours at Stanley Library, Louisa Centre, Front Street, Stanley DH9 OTE, or viewed via the council's website at www. durham.gov.uk/Statutorynotices.
Any objection to the order must be made in writing to die Planning Casework Unit, 5 St Philips Place, Birmingham B3 2PW before 3 June 2021 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector's address and interests in the land.
DESCRIPTION OF LAND 454 square metres of land to the east of Benton Terrace, Stanley and 547 square metres of land to the west of the unclassified road known as Thorneyholme Terrace North, the A693 roundabout and the A6076, Stanley.
