North Yorkshire County Council, 30 MPH Speed Limit, Crayke Lane, Crayke, Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that we propose to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 miles per hour on any length of road at Crayke Lane, Crayke specified. Extension of Existing 30 Mph Speed Limit on Crayke Lane, Crayke. Church Hill & Easingwold Road remain unchanged. Schedule - Revoke Order reference "North Yorkshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Crayke) Order 1993", Introduce the following 30mph speed limit: Crayke Lane, Westway and Brandsby Street, Crayke, from a point 305 metres south of the junction of Crayke Lane and Westway to a point 65 metres north east of the junction of Mill Lane with Brandsby Street. Church Hill Crayke, from its junction with Brandsby Street for a distance of 270 metres in a north westerly direction. Easingwold Road, Crayke, from its junction with Westway for a distance of 230 metres in a westerly direction. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton, during normal office hours between 05/02/21 & 01/03/21 & also available to be viewed online at
