(WEST PARADE & SYCAMORE CLOSE. COXHOE) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020

(WEST PARADE & SYCAMORE CLOSE. COXHOE) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14(1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 90m of West Parade & Sycamore Close between its junctions with B6291 and the track leading to Grange House, Coxhoe to enable flood investigation works to be undertaken. There is no alternative route available to vehicular traffic during the works. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence at 9am on 5/11/2020 and for the duration of the works anticipated to be a 5 hour window. The works are anticipated to take around 2 hours within this window. On occasions, alternative dales for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
(HOWDEN BANK, LANCHESTER) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 143m of Howden Bank, Lanchester from the junction with the A691 in a northerly direction to the junction with St Bede's Court to enable overhead power cable replacement works to be undertaken. Alt route will be signposted from the southern side of closure in a north westerly direction on A691, then northerly on A692, and south easterly on A693 to the northern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on from 9am to 3pm on 1/11/20 and are anticipated to be completed in 1 day. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
(FOOTPATHS 68.70 AND 78. DURHAM CITY) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on 800m of Footpath(Fp) No 78 between its junctions with Elvet Bridge and the path adj to the Count's House leading to Prebends Bridge & South Bailey, Durham, as well as 47m of Fp No 68 Drury Lane from Saddler St in an easterly direction to Fp No 78, and 43m of Fp No 70 on Bow Lane from Bow Cottage in an easterly direction down Kingsgate steps to Fp No 78 to enable NWL works to re-line their sewer network to be undertaken. Alt route from the northern side of the closure from Fp no 78 via the link onto Elvet Bridge and continuing west onto Saddler St then south from Saddler St onto North then South Bailey to Prebends Bridge and the link path leading to the Count's House to the southern side of the closure and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence between 8am and 5pm on 4/11/20 and are anticipated to be completed in 14 days. On occasions, alternative dales for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
(C85 LOW URPETH) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 625m of C85 between its junctions with C5 and the Unclassified road 12.4 Urpeth-Ouston road to enable essential carriageway patching repair works to be undertaken. Alt route from the north eastern side of the closure via C5 southwards to the Station Ln roundabout north of Ouston then westerly on Unc. Rd 12.4 to its junction with C85 to the south western side of the closure. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence from 9.30 am on 4/11/20 the duration of the works anticipated to be up to 6 hours (within a 3-day window). On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
