DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TOWN CENTRE (CORONAVIRUS) TEMPORARY ORDER No.3 2020
Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be the following temporary restrictions and amendments to traffic order:
TO SUSPEND FROM THE DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL (ON STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2019:
SCHEDULE 25.06 PAY AND DISPLAY PARKING PLACES - All days
Barnard Street, West side from a point 5 metres north of its junction with Duke Street to its junction with Duke Street North Back
Duke Street, South side, from a point 13.5 metres east of its junction with Stanhope Road South to a point 8.5 metres west of its junction with Larchfield Street Duke Street, South side, from a point 8 metres east of its junction with Larchfield Street to a point 27 metres west of its junction with Raby Terrace Winston Street, South side, from a point 3.5 metres east of its junction with Barnard Street to a point 7.5 metres west of its junction with Raby Terrace TO INTRODUCE THE FOLLOWING RESTRICTIONS:

PROHIBITION OF DRIVING
north side of the carriageway of Duke Street from the kerbline towards the centre for a distance of up to two metres as marked by barriers placed on the highway
The restrictions are necessary for reasons connected to the effects of coronavirus to enable the public to park more safely and socially distance whilst using the footways. The restrictions under this notice will commence on 12th September 2020 and will continue no later than 30th April 2021.
