(GROVE TERRACE (SIDE 27 CHAPEL AVENUE). BURNOPFIELD) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 20m of Grove Tee, Burnopfield on the section of carriageway that runs along the side of 27 Chapel Ave to enable excavation and installation of new service works to be undertaken. Alternative route from northern side of closure in a westerly direction on Raglan Place (back) and southerly on Watson St to southern side of closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence from 8.30am on 8/4/20 and are anticipated to be completed in 2 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
(FOOTPATH NO 6 FRAMWELLGATE MOOR) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on a 345 metre length of Footpath No 6 Framwellgate Moor that extends between Front Street to Harvey Avenue to enable electricity supply improvement works to be undertaken. An alternative route will not be signed to pedestrian traffic; however a route will be available through Pity Me Carrs Nature Reserve. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 6/4/20 and are anticipated to be completed in 2 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
(A692 FRONT STREET. DD?TON) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 375 m of A692 Front St Dipton between no. 22 St Johns Tee to no. 5 Windsor Tee to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the south western side of the closure from A693/A692 junction easterly via A693 to Morrison Busty roundabout then north on B6168 through Annfield Plain, Catchgate and Flint Hill to the junction with A692 to the north eastern side of the closure, and vice versa. (Also from B6168 westerly via C125 Fondlyset Lane, Delight Bank and Cooperative Tee to Dipton). The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence between 9am and 3pm on 6/4/20 and are anticipated to be completed in 10 days (there will be no closure over the Bank Holiday weekend). On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
