(HIGH YARD. OFF HALLGARTH STREET. DURHAM CITY) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
The Council on 27/2/20 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 25 m of High yard off HaUgarth St, Durham to enable demolition of existing garages and landscaping/resurfacing works to be undertaken. There is no alternative route available to vehicular traffic. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 9/3/20 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
(NORTH ROAD AREA, DURHAM CITY) (TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 2001 (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2020
The Council intend to make an Order under Sections 1, 2 & 4, & Pt IV of Sch. 9 of the Rd Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will: 1. Amend article 18 to change the time period of the 7.5t weight restriction from 'Mon-Sat, 10am-4pm' to lOam-Midnight, Midnight-6am\ 2. To amend Schedule 5 to change the time period of the 7.5t weight restriction from 'Mon-Sat, 10am-4pm' to lOam-Midnight, Midnight-6am'. A copy of the draft Order & supporting documents may be inspected at Durham Clayport Library & County Hall, Durham during normal working hours and via the Council website. (DURHAM CITY (SOUTH WEST)) (PARKING AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2013 (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2020
The Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32 & 35 and Part IV of Sch. 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to: 1. Introduce No Waiting At Any Time restrictions on: a. the north side of Faraday Court adj to the side of No. 45 Faraday Court for 34m b. both sides of Clay Lane and the junc with Faraday Court for 24 m c. north east side of the A167 from a point adj to the rear of No. 12 Dalton Crescent and into the junction of Dalton Crescent for 64m d. the north side of Potters Bank into the junction of Westhouse Ave for 20m either side of the junction e. Palatine View both side for its entire length (Summerville) for 62m f. the south east side of A177 from a point adj to Southend House in a southerly direction for 57m g. both sides of A177 from a point adjacent to No.6 Southend in a southerly direction for 721m h. the north west side of A177 opposite money slack layby for 36m i. both sides of A177 from the south end of money slack layby in a southerly direction for 589m j. both sides of Howland's Park and Ride access road from the junction with the A177 in a generally southerly direction for 338m k. both sides of The Drive, Mount Oswald from the junction with the A177 for its entire length. (2) Introduce residential permit holders parking only Mon-Sat 8am-6pm on: a. North west side of Durham Viaduct for 60m b. Chevallier Court, Durham for its entire length. A copy of the draft Order & supporting documents may be inspected at Durham Clayport Library & County Hall, Durham during normal working hours and via the Council website.
