The County Council of Durham intend to make an Order under Sections 1,2,4,32 and 35 and PL IV of Sch. 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to Introduce No Waiting at Any Time restriction on: the cross road on Front St (B6291), Church St (C22 and Unc 20.16) Quarrington Hill for 40m along Front St and 40m along Church St. No Waiting and No Loading at any tune on: The cross roads near the Coop on Wellfied Rd, Durham Rd (C135) Salters Lane and North Rd (B1280) Wingate for 112m along Wellfield Road and Durham Rd and for 148m along Salters Lane and North Rd. Restricted Waiting (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm no waiting no loading) on: Moor Lane, Wingate between the existing no waiting at any time and school keep clear Markings for 40m. A copy of the draft Order and supporting documents may be inspected at Bowburn and Wingate library and at County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours & via the Council website. Any person wishing to object to the proposal should send their grounds of objection in writing to Sharon Renwick, Legal Assistant, County Hall, Durham or by email to
