ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
TWO LAWS ROAD, STANBURY, KEIGHLEY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 1197) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Two Laws Road, Stanbury, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Two Laws Road from its junction with New Laithe Road for approximately 840 metres in an easterly direction to the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council boundary.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Two Laws Road (unaffected section), Lancashire Moor Road, School Lane, Keighley Road, Colne Road, Main Street, Keighley Road, Skipton Road, Main Road, Skipton Road, Keighley Road, Skipton Road, North Street, High Street, Bridge Street, South Street, Halifax Road, Haworth Road, Lees Lane, Mill Hey, Station Road, Bridgehouse Lane, Rawdon Road, North Street, West Lane, Sun Lane, Main Street, Hob Lane, Scar Top Road, New Laithe Road, and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect between 19:00 hours and 06:00 hours on a daily basis on 3rd February 2020 and remain in force until 21st February 2020 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
