ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

CHAPEL LANE, BINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 1195) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works proposed to be executed on or near Chapel Lane, Bingley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Chapel Lane from its junction with Ferncliffe Road to its junction with Midland Hill.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available as follows:-

From Ferncliffe Road via Ferncliffe Road, Main Street and Chapel Lane (unaffected section).

From Chapel Lane via Chapel Lane (unaffected section), Midland Hill, Wellington Street, Park Road, Main Street and Ferncliffe Road. The proposed Order will come into effect between 07:30 hours and 17:30 hours each day on 2nd and 3rd February 2020 and continue in effect between 07:30 hours and 17:30 hours each day on 9th and 10th February 2020 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
