(HOLMLANDS PARK. CHESTER-LE-STREET1 (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE! ORDER 2020

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 55 m of Holmlands Park that extends northwards between its junctions with Ropery Ln, Chester-le-Street to enable telecom jointing chamber works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the southern side of the closure from Ropery Ln westerly to the western access to Holmlands Park leading northwards and eastwards to the northern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 3/2/20 and are anticipated to be completed in 2 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.

f ANNAND ROAD. GILESGATE) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2020

The Council on 9/1/20 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 240 m of Annand Rd that extends southwards and westwards from its junction with Bradford Cres, Gilesgate to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. Alt route available from the northern side of the closure westerly via Bradford Cres and southerly on Roosevelt Rd to the south western side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 10/1/20 and are anticipated to be completed in 6 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.

(BURDON WAY. KENNET GROVE AND BLACKISTON CLOSE. COXHOE) (20 MPH SPEED ZONE) ORDER 2020

The Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84 & 87 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce: 20mph ZONE on Burdon Way, Kennet Grove and Blackiston Close, Coxhoe from 1. Burdon Way from its junction with the A177 in an easterly direction for its entire length. 2. Blackiston Close from its junction with Burdon Way in a northerly direction for its entire length. 3. Kennet Grove from its junction with Burdon Way in a southerly direction for its entire length. A copy of the draft Order and supporting information may be inspected at Newton Hall Library, Bowburn Library and at County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours and via the council website. Any person who wishes to object to the proposed Order should send their grounds of objection in writing to Sharon Renwick, Legal Assistant at County Hall, Durham or by email to

(CALEY RISE AND BURDON PLACE. PITY ME. DURHAM) (20 MPH SPEED ZONE) ORDER 2020

The Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84 & 87 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce: 20mph ZONE on Caley Rise and Burdon Place, Pity Me, Durham from 1. Caley Rise from its junction with C12 generally in a north easterly direction for its entire length. 2. Burdon Place from its junctions with Caley Rise generally in a north easterly direction for its entire length. A copy of the draft Order and supporting information may be inspected at Newton Hall Library and at County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours and via the council website. Any person who wishes to object to the proposed Order should send their grounds of objection in writing to Sharon Renwick, Legal Assistant at County Hall, Durham or by email to
