Notice of a Confirmed Public Path Diversion & Definitive Map & Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 North Yorkshire County Council Public Footpath 25.75/17 (Part) Eastfield Farm, Rillington Diversion Order 2019 The effect of the above Order as confirmed on 03/01 /20 is to divert Public Path Footpath 25.75/17 (part) from GRSE 8593 7452 proceeding in an east south easterly direction for approximately 218 metres to GRSE 8615 7448 will be moved onto a new line from GRSE 8593 7452 proceeding in an east north east direction for approximately 131 metres to GRSE 8605 7458 then proceeding in a south easterly direction for approximately 6 metres to GRSE 8606 7458 then proceeding in a easterly direction for approximately 50 metres to GRSE 8610 7459. The new route will be 2 metres wide throughout on a grass surface. A copy of the Order & the order map have been placed & may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Malton Library, St Michael Street, Malton, Y017 7LJ until 26/02/20. The Order comes into force on the date on which the Authority certifies, in accordance with Section 119(3)(b) of the 1980 Act, that work to the new section of path, described in part 2 of the Schedule, has been completed, but If a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in It, on the ground that It is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by Paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 15/01/20, make an application to the High Court Dated 15/01/20
