NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990. SECTION 257 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981. SECTION 53A(2) THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF DURHAM (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.27 CORNSAY PARISH) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2020 The above order was made on 6/1/2020. The effect of the order will be to Divert Public Footpath No. 27 Cornsay Parish from a point on unclassified road 18.25 at the entrance to South Farm, Cornsay, proceeding in a generally south westerly direction through farmyard and along field edge, through the location of the proposed building to stone stile, then north westerly along field edge to a point at the field corner onto a line running from a point some 60 metres north west of the South Farm entrance on unclassified road 18.25, proceeding in a generally south westerly direction to the north of farm building and along field edges, then south easterly and south westerly around field edge, and then south easterly to the same point at the field corner as shown on the order map.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at Esh Winning library and the Council's Offices at County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours and via the Council website. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at the price of £1.25.
Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Sharon Renwick, Legal Assistant, County Hall, Durham, DH1 5UL, no later than 6/2/2020. Please state the grounds on which it is made. If no such representations or objections to the Order are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, The County Council of Durham may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
