(BRIDLEWAY NOS 42.47 & 57. BUTTERWICK. SEDGEFIELD) (TEMPORARY BRIDLEWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2019
The Council on 14/10/19 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all traffic from proceeding on 1) A 1055 m length of bridleway no 42 that extends eastwards from Butterwick Rd / Waterloo plantation 2) A 2075 m length of bridleway no 47 that extends between A689 and bridleway no 43 3) A 880 m length of bridleway no 57 that extends between bridleway no 47 and public footpath no 58 / the road leading to Green Lane cottages Butterwick, Sedgefield to prevent danger to the public and to permit wind turbine repair or renewal works to be undertaken. There is no signed alternative route available to traffic. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The works are expected to commence on 17/10/19 and are anticipated to be required for 6 months. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
