Notice is hereby given that North Yorkshire County Council made an Order under Sections
1 (1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 &Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend "North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) (District of Craven) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing the restrictions specified in the schedule below:-

Schedule - Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking
Castle Hil, South East - Its junction with the south westernmost side of the front elevation of 9 Castle Hill, a point 18.5 metres north east of its junction with the south westernmost side of the front elevation of 9 Castle Hill - Disc Parking -8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Saturday (inc),
2 Hours Maximum Stay, No Return within 1 Hour (Exemption for those vehicles displaying a Residents Parking Permit). Castle Hill, South East - a point 21 metres north east of its junction with the south westernmost side of the front elevation of 9 Castle Hill, a point 30.5 metres north east of its junction with the south westernmost side of the front elevation of 9 Castle Hill. Disc Parking -8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Saturday (inc),

2 Hours Maximum Stay, No Return within 1 Hour (Exemption for those vehicles displaying a Residents Parking Permit). Castle Hill, East - its junction with Castle Wynd, a point 2.5 metres north of its junction with the southern elevation of Property No 36. - No Waiting, Monday to Saturday, 8.00am to 6.00pm. Castle Hill, East - a point 2.5 metres north of its junction with the southern elevation of Property No 36, a point 14.5 metres north of its junction with the southern elevation of Property No 36, - Disc Parking - 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Saturday (inc), 2 Hours Maximum Stay, No Return within 1 Hour (Exemption for those vehicles displaying a Residents Parking Permit). Castle Hill, East - A point 14.5 metres north of its junction with the southern elevation of Property No 36, its junction with the Market Place - No Waiting at any time. Castle Hill, South East - its junction with Castle Wynd, a point 75 metres south west of the junction of the northern side of Castle Hill with the southern side of New Road (except where indicated for Disc Parking) - No Waiting, Monday to Saturday, 8.00am to 6.00pm. Castle Hill, South - its junction with the bollards which delineate the limit beyond which cars cannot pass, a point 6 metres north of its junction with the bollards which delineate the limit beyond which cars cannot pass -Disc Parking - 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Saturday (inc), 2 Hours Maximum Stay, No Return within 1 Hour (Exemption for those vehicles displaying a Residents Parking Permit). A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 09/09/19, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Northallerton Library during normal office hours from 06/09/19 to 21/10/19 & also viewed online at

If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 06/09/19 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
