Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order, Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, North Yorkshire County Council Public Bridleways 10.172/2 (part), 10.172/3 (part) & Public Footpath 10.172/4 (part) Wildon Grange, Coxwold, Diversion Order 2019 On 10/07/2019, North Yorkshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the confirmed Order is to divert the public bridleways and footpath described below and modify The District of Hambleton (Outside the North York Moors National Park) Definitive Map and Statement accordingly. Bridleway 10.172/2 (part) -The section of bridleway starting at GR SE 5185 7816 proceeding in a generally westerly direction along Mill Field Lane for approximately 1127 metres to GR SE 5082 7800 will be moved onto a new route starting at GR SE 5185 7816 proceeding in a south south easterly direction for approximately 73 metres then proceeding in a west south westerly direction for approximately 151 metres, then proceeding in a generally southerly then south south westerly direction for approximately 440 metres to GR SE 5168 7766. Bridleway 10.172/3 (part) - The section of bridleway starting at GR SE 5159 7805 proceeding in a southerly direction for approximately 371 metres to GR SE 5167 7771 will be moved onto a new route starting at GR SE 5167 7771 proceeding in a westerly direction for approximately 465 metres then proceeding in a northerly direction for approximately 364 metres then proceeding in a westerly direction for approximately 410 metres to GR SE 5082 7800. Footpath 10.172/4 (part) - The section of footpath starting at GR SE 5165 7807 proceeding in a generally northerly direction for approximately 128 metres to GR SE 5167 7818 will be moved onto a new route starting at GR SE 5174 7803 proceeding in a generally northerly then westerly then northerly direction for approximately 193 metres to GR SE 5167 7818. Footpath 10.172/7- A new section of path will link FP 10.172/4 & BW 10.172/3 north of Wildon Grange running from GR SE 5121 7806 in an easterly direction for approximately 557 metres to GR SE 5167 7818. The Order comes into force on the date on which the Authority certifies, in accordance with Section 119(3)(b) of the 1980 Act, that work to the new section of path, described in part 2 of the Schedule, has been completed, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by Paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 26/07/19 make an application to the High Court.
