The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen Footpath 1 Livesey (part) Public Path Diversion Order 2019
On 25th July 2019 Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council made the above Order, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, the effect of which will, if confirmed, divert the public footpath as described in Schedule 1 to this Notice onto the route described in Schedule 2 and as shown on the Order Map. In the interests of the public it is expedient that the line of the path be diverted.
A copy of the Order and Map may be examined free of charge at the Information Desks, Town Hall, Blackburn and Town Hall Darwen on Mondays to Fridays inclusive between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. (excluding Bank Holidays). Copies of the Order may be purchased at the price of 50p.
Representations or written objections to the Order, specifying the grounds thereof, should be sent to the undersigned to be received no later than the 27th August 2019. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council may in itself confirm the Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation, any representations or objections, which have not been withdrawn, will be sent with the Order.

SCHEDULE 1 - LINE OF EXISTING ROUTE
The part of Public footpath 1 Livesey to be diverted is shown on the attached plan by a solid grey line at points A-B-E. public footpath 1 Livesey runs from Point A (65860 25680) where it leaves Livesey Branch Road in a Southerly direction for 52m to Point B (65867, 25629), where it turns in a South Westerly direction for 26m to Point E (65854 25606).
SCHEDULE 2 - LINE OF DIVERSIONARY ROUTE
The proposed diversion route is shown on the attached plan by the broken black line C-D-E. From Point C (65857 25679) the diversion route will follow an existing 1.8m wide metalled path running in a Southerly direction for 69m to point D (SD 65864 25610) where it turns in a south westerly then westerly direction for 12m to point E (SD 65854 25606)
