Notice Of Confirmation Of A Public Path Diversion Order. Highways Act 1980. North Yorkshire County Council. Bridleway No. 20.38.4. St Johns Chapel. Hunton. Richmond. Diversion Order 2019 On 24/06/19, North Yorkshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert Bridleway No. 20.38/4 running generally east south east, south south west, south then east for approximately 157 metres from GR 41917 49279 to GR 41925 49272 will be diverted onto a new route from GR 41925 49272 and runs North for 5 metres to a bridle gate in field boundary fence at GR 41925 49273. Then continues generally North West for approximately 77 metres to corner of field boundary at GR 41921 49279, then continues generally North for approximately 72 metres to a bridle gate in field boundary fence at GR 41921 49286, then continues North North West for approximately 8 metres to Church Bank at GR 41920 49286. The new route will be 3 metres wide throughout on a natural surface. A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Bedale Community Library, 2 North End, Bedale, DL8 1AA until 30/08/19. . The Order comes into force on the date on which the Authority certifies, in accordance with Section 119(3)(b) of the 1980 Act, that work to the new section of path, described in part 2 of the Schedule, has been completed, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by Paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from 19/07/19, make an application to the High Court.
