HIRD George Kenneth Ken Kathleen and all the family of the late Kenneth Hird wish to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for their kindness and sympathy, also thank you for the many letters, cards and flowers received following the recent sad loss of Kenneth. A special thanks to all the Staff at The Friarage Hospital, to Dr. Brookes, Dr. Smart and all the Staff at Reeth Medical Centre, to the local District Nurses and the Herriot Hospice Nurses for their loving care of Kenneth. Thank you to John and Sheila Bainbridge and Rev'd Antony Kirby for making a truly special service and a heartfelt thanks to Simon Barningham for all his help, support and guidance throughout this difficult time and sincere thanks to Anne, Claire and all the staff for the wonderful refreshments provided after the service. Finally grateful thanks to all who attended the funeral service and for the extremely generous donations given in memory of Kenneth for St. Peter and St. Felix Church, The Yorkshire Air Ambulance Service and The British Heart Foundation.
