ABBOTT September 27, (peacefully) of Birchmere, Spennymoor, Margaret (Peggy) aged 89 years. A much loved wife of Tom, dearly loved mother of Norman and John, loving grandma to Michael and Paul and a very dear mother-in-law, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt. Would family and friends please meet in St. Pauls Church, Spennymoor, Friday, October 5, for a service at 12.40 p.m., followed by committal at Durham Crematorium. No flowers by request, donations in lieu may be given to St. Cuthberts Hospice, Park House Road, Merryoaks, Durham, DH1 3QF.
