MATTHEWS December 18 (suddenly), of Marmaduke Street, Spennymoor. Irene, aged 87 years, dearest sister of Edna and the late Mary, loving and much loved aunt to David and Lynn, Christine and Richard and Diane and great-aunt of Ben, Andrew, Alex, Kathryn, James, Steven and Tim. Friends please meet in The Trinity Methodist Chapel, Rosa Street, Spennymoor Thursday, December 30 for a service at 12.10 p.m., followed by committal at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired may be left in the collection plate for Chapel Funds.
