THORNTON On 2nd August, of Ushaw Moor, John, aged 75 years. Dearly loved husband of Lesley, much loved dad of Nicola and Christopher, father-in-law of Paul and Karen and a loving grandad to Rachel, Christopher, Lucy and Franky. Friends please meet for Requiem Mass in St Joseph's R.C. Church, Ushaw Moor on Thursday 18th August at 10.30am, followed by interment in the churchyard. All welcome for refreshments in the Catholic Club afterwards. Donations in lieu of flowers may be given after the service for The Samaritans. On whose soul sweet Jesus have mercy R.I.P.
