NELSON Ronnie, aged 75 years, peacefully at home on 21st June, of Davison Road, Darlington. Dearly loved husband of Theresa, much loved dad of Julie and Philip, dear father-in-law of Eddie and Debbie and a loving grandad and great-grandad. Requiem Mass to take place in St Thomas Aquinas RC Church on Thursday 7th July at 12noon, followed by private cremation. Donations if desired may be made for St Teresa's Hospice.

Sending my sincere condolences to Ronnies family.. he was an absolute gentleman! Had a fantastic sense of humour and was just a lovely kind man. I met him when my daughter Olivia married his grandson Peter and he accepted, loved and respected her from day 1 .. he will be very sorely missed by her and Peter. I just want to say thank you Ronnie for making my daughter feel so loved and welcome into your family . Xx RIP
