WRIGHT Lynne (nee Maddison) 21st February 1952 - 25th November 2021 At Darlington Memorial Hospital of complications, following cancer treatment. Much loved elder daughter of Steve Maddison and the late Joan. Dear sister to Jeff and the late Judith and Stephen. Widow of Tom Wright of Bolam. Wonderful partner of Richard and a "bonus" mum and grandma to Caroline and Laura and their children. A vibrant, caring lady who put more into life than she took out. A keen walker, cruciverbalist and dedicated shopper. She will be long remembered by her family, step family, friends and walkers. The funeral will take place at Wear Valley Crematorium on Thursday 16th December at 11:30am. At her specific request there shall be no dark ties or drab clothes. The wake will immediately follow the service at a venue to be announced on the day. Donations, to be made on the day, in lieu of flowers to Cystic Fibrosis Care.
