Zena RODDAM

RODDAM (nee Grant) Zena, aged 69, of Ferryhill, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on 13th October. Dearly loved wife of Terry and beloved mam of David and Alison. Cherished grandma, sister and auntie, and dear friend to many. Despite long illness, Zena was devoted to caring for others and will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, compassion and loyalty. She dedicated many years to work in the local community as a Town Councillor, school governor, fundraiser with the Ferryhill Six and a supporter of several local organisations. She will be missed by many. Funeral service will take place on Thursday 28th October at the Methodist Church, Ferryhill at 2.45pm followed by family committal at Wear Valley crematorium. All friends are invited to Masonic Hall, Ferryhill afterwards to reminisce and celebrate Zena's life. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Cystic Fibrosis Trust and St Cuthbert's Hospice.
