SHIELDS John of Newton Aycliffe, passed away peacefully in hospital on 22nd September, aged 80 years after a short illness. Dearly beloved husband of the late Miriam, a dearly loved dad to Stuart and a much loved father-in-law to Roseanne, a treasured and devoted grandad to Emma, also a dear brother and uncle. Family and friends please meet for service at St Clare's Church, Newton Aycliffe on Monday 18th October at 10.45 am, followed by private cremation.
