TAYLOR Aycliffe Village Peacefully in hospital on July 5. Dr. Ian Hammond Taylor (Retired GP of Chilton and Ferryhill). Beloved husband of the late Sallie, much loved father to Jenny Harris, Timothy Taylor and the late Simon Taylor. Funeral Monday July 19. Service to be held in Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon at 1.30pm.

So sorry to hear of Dr Taylor's death. When I was growing up in Newton Aycliffe, he (along with Dr Steel) was our family GP. Always kind and caring, with a great sense of humour too. My sincere condolences to his family.
