SHIELDS October 2, Suddenly, of Newton Aycliffe, formerly of Ferryhill. Miriam (nee Kirkby) aged 76 years. Beloved wife of John, much loved mam of Stuart, loving mother-in-law of Roseanne and dearly loved nana of Emma Poppy. Due to the current circumstances a private service will take place at St Lukes Church, Ferryhill on Wednesday October 21, at 10.30am, to be followed by interment in Chilton Cemetery.
