BURNS Pamela August 6 1934 - July 6 2020 It is with great sadness we announce the loss of a wonderful wife, mother, nanny, great-nanny and friend to many. God saw you getting tired And a cure was not to be So he put His arms around you And whispered Come to me. With tearful eyes we watched you As you slowly slipped away And though we loved you dearly It was selfish to try and make you stay. Your golden heart stopped beating Your tired hands put to rest God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best We will forever miss you with every passing day and the longing to see you will never go away. Very many thanks to Dr Stephenson and all at Bewick Crescent surgery and the district nurse team who treated mam with the respect and dignity that she deserved. Finally thank you to AMU and Ward 43 DMH for all your wonderful skills, kindness, care and consideration during her stay with you. Thank you for your commitment and compassion. Thank goodness for the NHS!
