FERN (nee Smith) Margaret (Peggy), aged 93, of Brompton on Swale, formerly of Easington Colliery, passed away peacefully in hospital on July 1. Dearly beloved wife of the late John, loving mum to Glynis and mother-in-law to Geoffrey, devoted gran to Paul, Emma and Jenna, treasured great-gran of Madison and Daniel. A dear sister, cousin, auntie and friend to many. Many thanks to all of the staff at Elizabeth House Care Home, Scorton where Peggy has spent the last 9 months. Due to current circumstances a private cremation will be held on Monday July 13. A service to celebrate Peggy's life will take place at a later date. Family flowers only, please.
