APPLETON Miriam of Bishop Auckland passed away peacefully at Sandringham Care Home, on May 29, aged 82 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late David Appleton, much loved mam of Deborah, mam-in-law of Dave and dear sister of Shirley, a treasured grandma to Luke and Hannah and a friend to all who knew her, she will be so greatly missed. Due to the current situation, a private family grave-side service is to be held but when circumstances permit a memorial service in church will be arranged.

So very sad to learn that Miriam has passed away, a kind and lovely lady generous to everyone she met. Our thoughts and prayers are with David and all the family, she will be greatly missed but has left behind so many happy memories. RIP
