HOLMES Peacefully on May 20, Jean, aged 88 years, of Coxhoe. Beloved wife of the late Maurice, a cherished mum to Ian and Norma, a great friend and mentor to many. Jean was a former teacher at Bowburn Infants School and a founder member and past chairwoman of Coxhoe Ladies Club. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Due to current restrictions, a service will take place at Durham crematorium, on Wednesday June 3, at 11:00am, for immediate family and close friends only. Family flowers only please, donation is memory of Jean may be sent to RNLI.
