ANDERSON John Laurence, (formerly of Eggleston), passed away peacefully on November 25, in hospital, aged 96. Beloved husband to Violet, dearly loved father to Christine and Neville, much loved father-in-law to Gloria and Graham, treasured grandfather to Thyra and Morgan and great-grandfather to Oliver. Laurence will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Funeral service to be held at Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon on Wednesday December 11, at 1:30pm. Friends please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, to R.N.I.B or sent care of John Blenkiron and Sons, Funeral Directors, 19 Galgate, Barnard Castle, DL10 8EQ. All are welcome for refreshments afterwards at the Cricket Club, Barnard Castle.
