BURDIS (Sherburn Village) On August 14, suddenly at home, Mary (nee Appleby) formerly of Newcastle. Devoted wife of Eric, stepmother of Christine and Neil, a stepgrandma of Alice and Rachael, also a sadly missed sister, sister-in-law and aunty. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday August 27. Would family and friends please meet at Durham Crematorium at 2.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations may be given after the service to the Pink Ribbon Foundation.
