DAVIES Rita (nee Bowman) A lady of sparkle who will continue to shine in our hearts. July 6, peacefully at home, aged 83 years, Rita of Coxhoe, formerly West Cornforth. A loving wife of the late Ken, a very special and awesome mam to Glynn, Garry and Paul, a treasured gran to Kyle, Josh, Mike, Bethany and Nathan, a much loved mother-in-law to Susan, Sandra, Ken and the late David. Will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Would family and friends please meet for service at The Wear Valley Crematorium, Coundon on Monday, July 22 at 11.30a.m. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Rita if desired may be left at the crematorium for the Marie Curie Nurses Appeal, as this is a celebration of Rita's life guests are not obliged to wear mourning colours, items of bright colourful clothing and bling would be welcome.
