HINDMARSH Peacefully, December 20, Joan, aged 91 years of Crook. Beloved wife of the late James Edward (Eddie), devoted mam to David and Diane, a dear mother-in-law to Margaret and Peter, much loved and loving gran and nan Joan. Will friends please meet for service in St Catherine's Church, Crook, at 1.15pm on Thursday, January 3, followed by interment in Crook Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may if desired be given c/o the family for The West Lodge Residents Fund at The Queens Head, Crook, where all are invited for refreshments following the service.

I have very old memories of Joan, back to the days of the Elite. Joan and Eddie ( casher ) were old friends of the Dowson family. Sad to see her passing but she will always be remembered with fondness as the pretty lady she was.
