RUSSELL Peacefully at home, after a long and difficult illness, bravely borne, of Strands near Gunnerside in Swaledale and formerly of Norton, Stockton-on-Tees. Ann, aged 76 years, dearly loved wife of John, very dear mum of Essie and Sally, a much loved granny, sister and mother-in-law. Funeral Service to be held at St. Andrew's Church, Grinton on Monday, December 10, at 11:00am followed later by a private committal service at Darlington Crematorium. Family flowers only please, however donations in memory of Ann, if so desired, would be appreciated for The World Literacy Foundation and St. Andrew's Church, which may be given at the service or forwarded to Simon Barningham, Manor Farm, Grinton, Richmond, North Yorks. DL11 6HL.
