- James Mitchell is due to appear at Teesside Crown Court for sentence following the death of cyclist Steven Roberts in Darlington.
- He was arrested by officers after being released from hospital and was charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
- Mr Roberts, who was pushing a pedal cycle, died after a collision on the B6279 Haughton Road, near Bannatyne's, in Darlington, last February.
