This month's Northern Decision Makers was a Question Time style discussion filmed live before an audience the day after Alastair Darling's Budget. It was chaired by Alastair Thomson, Tees Valley chairman of the Institute of Directors, and featured NDM's regular pundits, Graham Robb from the Conservatives and Nick Wallis from Labour. Also on the panel were Allan Cook of Arlington Financial and John Orchard of Marchday, the developer of the Lingfield Point business park in Darlington where the show was filmed. The Northern Echo's political editor Chris Lloyd set the scene with his view of the Budget.
