NEWCASTLE'S Kingston Park is to stage the England v Ireland Six Nations Under 20 match on Friday, February 26 with a 6.05pm kick-off in front of the Sky cameras.

The only Newcastle player in a 32-man elite squad named yesterday is back row player Callum Chick, who made his senior debut for the Falcons in Saturday's European Challenge Cup match in Russia.

The former England Under 18 captain, who hails from Ponteland, is joined by prop Lewis Boyce, who began with Acklam before moving on to Middlesbrough then Yorkshire Carnegie.

Among three other Carnegie players in the southern-dominated squad is hooker Jack Walker, who appeared twice for Darlington Mowden Park last season.

He was on loan with prop Paul Hill, who was signed later in the season by Northampton and was named last week in the senior England squad.

The squad are attending a camp in Loughborough this week under Jon Callard, who steps in as interim head coach to replace Ian Peel.

The former Newcastle prop moved on to join the Saracens coaching team and to assist the England senior team as scrum coach for the RBS 6 Nations.

The opening match for the Under 20s is against Scotland in Glasgow on February 5.
